The Huesca Film Festival Foundation, with 50 years at the helm of the Huesca International Film Festival, is the promoter of this new event. Along with the Foundation, the Peña Guara Association oversees the organization of sports activities from its headquarters in Huesca.
The PMFF is directed by the filmmaker David Asensio, with the director and mountain film specialist, Jesús Bosque as programming director.
The selection committee for the competition stages will be formed by the director of the Huesca International Film Festival, Estela Rasal, the director of photography and mountaineer Sebastian Vaunneville and the renowned mountaineer and vice president of Peña Guara Lorenzo Ortas, together with the above-mentioned David Asensio and Jesús Bosque.
