The presentation tour of the Pirineos Mountain Film Festival was held throughout the province of Huesca in February 2022 with a selection of the best short films related to mountain, adventure and extreme sports cinema, feature films and various presentations. The Alto Aragonese capital was the starting point, to later visit Jaca, Barbastro, Boltaña, and Benasque; revealing the outstanding potential of “Huesca: the Magic of Congresses”, a network made up of all the congress centers of Alto Aragón. The provincial tour was only the first step of a future expansion through other national and international venues.

In October 2022, the 2nd Edition of the Pirineos MFF was launched, this time with a competitive scope, and the rules to present works from any part of the world were announced. The short films selected for this second edition will be screened in 2023 first at its official headquarters (Huesca) and later, as in the first edition, the tour of the provincial Venues will begin, followed by the National and International Tour.
