A French Mexico-based baker, who lost two of his sisters who died of leukemia when he was a teenager, has initiated the project of making 10 survivors of cancer climb the highest mountain of Mexico: the 5 636m high Pico de Orizaba, and reach its iced and volcanic top. This is an outstanding adventure for these survivors who could never imagine, at their worst times of fighting cancer, that they could ever do something as basic as the simplest exercise, not mentioning of course alpinism. Their goal, reaching the top, will make them feel more alive than ever. Ximena, David and their friends, some of them on one leg only because of the illness consequences, will take us on our journey of incredible strength and fighting spirit, in a challenge that they will also achieve as a tribute to those of their friends who died and couldn’t be part of it.
